The Night Before

People were starting to filter in and check into their hotels. Walking around what parts of the convention center were open, it was obvious people had come from all parts of the world.

This was Wednesday Evening. The few, the proud, the ones who are gonna need a shower Thursday morning... Celebration III is over 12 hours away yet. That's dedication. I for one value a warm bed and a hot shower!

I'd be getting in the back of this line soon enough...



Lot's of captions for this one. Funny checking seeing an Indy Police officer checking out the fan weapons. Though it does make sense considering the original weapons at their cores actually have a REAL weapon. Han's famous blaster pistol is based on a WWII Mauser Broomhandle. The Storm Trooper's guns are based on a Sterling. So it makes sense to check them out to keep someone from bringing in a true weapon.



A Scout Trooper from the 501st holding me at gunpoint.. Nice to see the 501st back. Not sure what all they're going to do when the Celebration stop. They really put a lot of work in but they're cool to have around. They're essentially the grease for the wheels of the Celebrations.
